Tired. Mind is racing at a mile a minute. Finally got up, took a cool shower and watched a Babylon 5 DVD.

Lisa chimed in with the "job is tearing (me) apart" crowd today. I have friday off anyway, she seems to think I should take wed and thurs off as sick days before I need to go out on stress-related disability. She's starting to see that as a real concern.

Just my job driving me insane. I have a week of vacation around WorldCon - I can hold out until then

okay, now *this* is unfair....

Not only did I have the day from hell, bad enough I had to basically colapse into a small weeping ball when I got back from the conference -

Not only did nobody, (including the Other Person) get back to me about visiting -

Not only does the stuff in my throat feel like I'm choking when I try to sleep -

Not only am I fighting a particularly bad case of the lonelies -

Not only is C not at home, so I don't know if she wants me to stop by tomorrow -

But on top of all this, like a cherry on a particularly warped sundae, the herd of elephants in the room above me have decided to make the beast with multiple backs, and be particularly loud and vocal about it. And of course I forgot my earplugs.

The universe is *not* being fair.................

I don't think I've ever had to fight for every scrap of sleep like I did last night before. Blegh. Large amounts of no fun.

Think I'll take a half-day tomorrow. Make sure I get a nap before going out for dinner.
