An observation.....
When looking at the giant Homer Simpson they painted next to the Cerne Abbas figure in the UK, I realized something
It's not Homer.
It's the Dagda.
It fits, the too-short tunic, thedonut wheel.
And most tales of the Dagda portray him as a oafish stupid fat alcoholic (who always seems to get into the ladies skirts...... )
