What the hell????

Granted, I'm NOT a coffee drinker, prefering my morning caffine as tea or diet coke. But this new Folger's commercial doesn't make me want to buy their coffee. It makes me want to buy a few more weapons to keep these things at bay...

Mornings SUCK. It's not Folgers' that's all HappyHAPPYhappyLOUD, it's the rest of the world. And the morning in general.

Coffee makes it so you can *tolerate* the obnoxiousness of it all.

The creative team behind the ad understands that it's an obnoxious ad; but they're recognizing that there's nothing that can be done about the HappyLOUD "Go Get 'em, team, Rah-rah!" perky-morning-traffic-girl, and the best you can do is put up with it -- and coffee helps.

I think it's a *great* ad: it gets the point accross, and no-one is going to forget the brand name anytime soon.

I think the advertisers understand that obnoxious ads get remembered and talked about.

Yes, they are fucking you in the eyeballs but, by god, you'll remember the name Folgers! And, people like me who don't watch TV, could have gone the entire week without remember the craptastic taste of Folgers except for the fact that this ad has become this weeks internet phenomena.

They totally understand.
