May 16th can't come soon enough....

Sometimes I think that when I first fell into those books as a child, part of me never fell back out. And that if I keep looking, I'll find a forest clearing with a lamp post shining a welcome, and hear the echoes of a Lion's roar.

But not a *tame* lion's roar........

As much as Little Bit likes the first movie, I can't wait for her to discover the books as well.

The link doesn't work for me, but my computer's been acting wonky. Is it the next Narnia movie?!?? If so, I am very excited!!

Another series I loved as much as the Narnia series is the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander. I wish somebody would make a great series of movies about that set of books...

She's getting close to the age I was when my mom started reading me a chapter or so a night as my bedtime story. We read The Hobbit the same way, and all the Anne books. Once she's with you, go for it.
