Mexico City is an awesome place. The "Let's Go" guide describes it as "apocalyptic". It's all true and why this city doesn't get more coverage in science fiction novels is beyond me.

I still remember staying in a five star hotel in Mexico City 20+ years ago. The guards had chrome-plated AR-15 rifles and the sky at night was...weird.

Sort of like visiting hell but with good room-service...
