UGH!!!!!!

Just got back from Doha Clinic Hospital

Yes I did pick up an oppotunistic infection at Hammad Hospital.

To be precise, on top of EVERYTHING else, I now have bronchitis.......

This is a "shoot me now, please" thing......

I'm now on a *third* antibiotic, moxifloxacin for five days, as well as a local tussin medication to break up the junk in my lungs.

Blegh...........

So let me get this straight: You went to the hospital for treatment for a problem and got even more ill as a result?

Damn witchdoctors!

OIs are why I HATE being dragged into the office by my doctor. I can't count the times I've been perfectly healthy and dragged in that I've caught an OI. Most "popular" for me are respiratory crud and flu.
NO! I don't want to sit in the waiting room for my annual physical. Thank you very much. Have you got a WELL patient room?
Good luck with the bronchitis. *HUGS* Blessed Be, Angelique

Denden got dragged into an emergency center for 'observation' (symptoms supposedly similar to a heart attack) and it was strongly suggested that I put on shoes/slippers (I was barefoot) because of "the nasty stuff you could pick up here" (their quote!) -_-;

Pretending to have a modern hospital and causing secondary infections due to poor hygene and cleaning... That's a great way to show the world that you're not a 3rd world country.

The feeling I got from Hammad is "look at all these shiny new toys we get to play with"

Doha Clinic tends to cater for towards expats. And is owned by a member of the Royal family. So in retrospect, I should have gone there instead.

Holy crap.

Hang in there.
