Ewwwww.......

To my friends in California -

You have NO idea how much I can sympathize with you, weather-wise.

I wouldn't wish Doha-type weather on ANYONE.

aww, it wasn't that bad. it was better than las-vegas-type weather :) we had actual humidity!

Hi, sweetie!

Not even on folks in various fiery hell/purgatory type bardos? It *would* be an improvement for them!

BTW, earlier in the week I would have asked you to think good thoughts for us Texans, too, because we were also running 100-degree plus temps, but it's backed off to the mid-90's now--which is business as usual around here in July. We sure could use some rain, though!

I hope your bosses don't come up with leventy-seven *more* things for you to do today.

*big hug & silly grin*
Vi

I'm with you for a change, Vi. It's too warm to suit me. Remember, this day in 2006 Angelique said... ;D Blessed Be, Angelique

Hey! What about those of us on the east coast! It's like a sweltering pit of sweltering here!

Actually, from what I've been seeing on news reports the whole damn planet has become a sweltering hell, regardless of region. Looks like Antartica is the only comfortable place right now.

But I'm sure this has nothing to do with the environment at all.

It doesn't. This hellstorm is angst-driven. ^_-

It was only 115/60 yesterday.

I would gladly trade you for yout 90/90 you had the other day.

[identity profile] snobahr.livejournal.com 2006-07-23 05:02 pm (UTC)(link)
It's supposed to be 115 in San Gabriel, today.

Yurg.

[identity profile] patgund.livejournal.com 2006-07-23 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Bear in mind, that 90/90 was also at 10:30 at night.....

[identity profile] jadeinsoca.livejournal.com 2006-07-23 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)

We are lucky to live in a basement apartment tiled in old-style linoleum. It's nice and cool in here. [livejournal.com profile] sogwife would disagree with me, but the woman is a furnace. :-)

It's not the temperature, it's the expectations. I grew up in the Central Valley; 107 degree days were a summer norm in my childhood. You'll notice I left the Central Valley as early as practicable, spent only a single summer back in college, and only visit sporadically. I choose better weather, and am pretty frustrated that that choice has been stymied this week.
