*Sigh*

I had been planning to go to Caid's Crown tourney this weekend. Besides which, [livejournal.com profile] selenesue was going to give me my yellow belt as her protege, (making a two-year relationship "official", save I've treated it as such since day one), and [livejournal.com profile] scottishdm was going to step down as Bellows.

However, due to Cornell-Qatar's HR department screwing me out of the money I earned and was owed, I need to make sure that money goes to job hunting and bitcare.

Which means Crown is more than likely not a happening thing this time around. And Angels Anniversary - which I would like to go to because I consider the B&B of Angels as friends, conflicts with Conjecture.

Bother.

Maybe things will stabilize for me to go to Dun Or anniversary next month.

I hope you can make it to Dun Or if you can't make Crown. I've got a big welcome home hug waiting for you my friend.

I was gonna go too, but I couldn't afford the drive up and the food and the drive back for one night. We'll see you someday

Did I miss a post? This is the first I've heard of this...

Long story, but in a nutshell, the HR department at WCMC-Qatar told me a day *after* I got back to the US, that they would NOT pay me the vacation time, unused leave, send of service bonus, etc., due to their false claim I owe them back rent.

To the tune of about $14,000 US.

Yes, I am following legal channels to try and get it back. No suit yet, but I have 300 days after exhusting the ADA and NY Labour Board complaints. And HR at WCMC-NY said they would see what violated Cornell policy and see if they can get me some of the money back
