Observation on book seven

Two questions about the UK cover of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/gallery/dhuk

1)    Why are Harry, Ron and Hermoine coming out of a Stargate? (Stargate HP-1 ???)

2) Back cover, in the sky over hogwarts, to the left of the tower.    What's the Enterprise doing there?

1) Maybe it has something to do with Dobby, weilding Godric's(?) sword, who also seems to be riding Harry out of the Stargate.

2) Flying to the radiant new Death Star, of course.

3) What self-respecting heterosexual warrior would wear the swantacular breastplate that Ron is about to sit on?

4) Did Harry give Ron all his money? Because it sure looks like Ron's living the high life in that gold-trimmed robe, and Harry (apart from developing a 5-o'clock shadow, and where did that Duke Nukem chin come from?) is looking pretty grungy in that...sweater-shirt-3/4 arm tunic.

2 (addendum)) That is, flying away from Minas Tirith to the Death Star.

I had to blow up the pic to see that the stargate actually doesn't have any carvings on it, but that sure IS an enterprise-shaped cloud formation over Hogwarts!!

If you looked at ALL the covers, the one you linked to is by far the best one, the US cover being very blah and only SLIGHTLY more interesting than the UK adult cover (hm, wonder if the ADULT edition is rated R for the naughty bits??) ^0^

*Chuckle* "Harry Potter and the twin globes of delight"??

Seriously though, there is no difference text-wise between the UK "normal" and "adult" covers. The reason for the adult covers is so people can read them on the train or tube without looking like they're reading a "kiddies book"

"Harry Potter and the twin globes of delight"??

That's the title of Book 1 of the new series being published by Black Lace Erotica.

They also look a lot cooler, to my eye. That's why I buy them.

I kind of figured that...I was just joking! ^_^
