Look, does this have anything to do with her work at the school? No. Did she do anything illegal? No. Then WTF is the problem??

Vineland school aide in adult films

"A recent discovery that a D'Ippolito Elementary School teacher's aide had a previous career in the adult entertainment industry has resulted in parents complaining to school officials.

Board of Education President Frank Giordano is unhappy with the situation and personally feels the woman should be fired. But Superintendent Charles "Chalky" Ottinger said the district has been advised against taking action.

"Not that we don't want to," Ottinger said.

Louisa C. Tuck of Vineland, a cafeteria and playground aide at the school, who also works with children at the YMCA of Vineland, starred in adult- oriented movies, performances and photo shoots under the name Crystal Gunns."

Yeah, but it's Vineland. Semi-rural, a small city (or large town) surrounded by farms. Back in the 50's, most of the chicken on the east coast came out of Vineland. My folks had a chicken farm there, most of their friends did, I spent a chunk of my childhood going on farm visits with them to hang out with old friends after they moved to Atlantic City. The smell of PBR and Piels makes me think of old farmers in front yards hanging out on lawn furniture, speaking yiddish and pinching my cheek to the sound of blue jays screaming and roosters crowing.

More surprising that she hasn't been encouraged to leave town. Well, it IS 2008. Still pretty rural.

If you work with children, apparently you have to be perfectly pure and unblemished in every way. Otherwise you are tainted and will naturally spread that taint to the children.
