(Sigh)

On one hand, it's nice to see my friends happy. On the other hand, I really dislike weddings. Actually It's not dislike as much as I find them depressing as hell. They always make me feel like a kids in a candy store, looking in at what I can never have.

(Sigh) Morose I guess. Things will look up.

I know the feeling. There was a rumor going around a few months back that a certain ex of mine and his current were planning their wedding. It turned out to be false, which was a great relief. Not because I don't want to see them married, but because I couldn't face the thought of yet another wedding in my social circle.

Yep, understand that one. Reason why I decided to come back to SD rather than spend the night - decided I really wasn't up for company Even if it was a backyard affair with all of 20 people.

On the other paw, maybe it was a good idea I showed up. Turned out that the person who was going to make their cake flaked out on them. So their wedding cake was the Chocolate-Guiness cake I made and brought. (and got a lot of complements on, so that's something. )

Yes, sounds like showing up with cake was definitely a good thing.
