patgundLast saturday, was going over to SWHC with C's 12 year old daughter. We were chatting on the way, mostly getting into a mutual bitch/gripe session about Star Wars - Episode II. Amusingly enough, we had the same complaint - the seriously painful and creepy romance scenes between Anakin and Padme.
Which was all well and good - until she mentioned the fact that there's a dating couple at her Jr. High School that have modeled themselves on those two characters, to the point of acting out the lines from the movie and calling each other "Anakin" and "Padme" as pet names.
Methinks I'm going to be sick.........
