I believe that for many people, it's the best choice for relationships in their life.
However, I also believe that it's not for others. Furthermore, I believe that as things change over a person's life, their perceptions of poly vs. mono can change, with some going more poly as they grow and change, and others going more mono as they grow and change.
Ultimately, it's what's best for the people involved. And nothing in life is cast in stone.
