So you say that zombies are attacking LA and you only want to flee north? Why? Don't you think that is where the zombies are coming from? The only route you mention that is east/west is the 210. Why not flee to Phoenix on the 10 or the 60? Are there zombies in Orange County? Why not flee south? Zombies are notoriously afraid of water, especially shark-infested waters, so why not go to Long Beach or San Pedro and take the boat over to Catalina Island? Zombies are prohibited there and they would have to swim 26 miles through shark-infested waters to get to Catalina.
But let us say that you are correct and that the only way to avoid zombies is to flee north and the 1, 101, 5, and 15 are all congested. The little known answer is to take Angeles Crest Highway over the mountains to Palmdale and then get on the 14 and go north to either Mammoth or to Tahoe. There you can go skiing and have fun, as zombies don't like snow and will freeze, plus they have problems with properly tightened ski straps.
