Warning to OS X 10.2 users

I just got my system back up and running after three hours. Seems something hoses permissions in the system, causing it to boot normally until just after the login screen, at which point you have a blue blank screen.
Growl. As much as I like OS X, there were times that booting w/o extensions was handy......

Date: 2003-04-11 11:54 am (UTC)The main problem is after 2 years of using OS X, I'm still trying to merge almost 20 years of Mac OS experience with 5 years of Unix experience. This is like making love to an alien - nothing works quite like you think it should at times.
