Bit of random geeking

Installed iTunes version 4 last night on my home desktop machines and my iBook. I really like one very cool feature - the ability to find other copies of iTunes on other machines on a network, read their library and playlists, and stream the music out to another machine.

Which means I was able to sit in the front room with my iBook, and listen to my playlist on my main desktop computer, which was streaming the music to the iBook via a wireless Airport / WiFi connection.

Was nice. And works into my plan to setup that iMac DV I have as a music server for the desktop and laptop.

Colossal Colon in Los Angeles.

Well, found out that the Colossal Colon that Dave Barry mentioned is going to be in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 18th though Saturday the 21st at the Kenneth Hahn building. Half tempted to go.

After all, how often does one get a chance to crawl though a gigantic colon?

The problem is that to get the best view, you have a 40-foot crawl on your hands and knees though the colon. I can imagine that towards the end of this crawl, you're feeling pretty crappy.
