Too bright lights, big city

In Las Vegas right now for collegium. Looks like I got here in time - parts of the high desert got up to 3 inches of rain in an hour this afternoon. Woof.

Went out to dinner with ophy, presenze, ckgriffin, and ckgriffin's sister. Was good. Blueberry Hill rocks.

While driving out here by myself wasn't fun, got to drive part of Route 66 from Victorsville to Barstow, and got some wonderful pictures of the Barstow Harvey House, a 1911 trainstation / hotel. PIctures will go up in a few days.

For now, planning on getting some sleep. Yeah, I know, some excitement, what?
