Okay, but is it worth the trip?

Giving some consideration to heading out to ConDFW on Feb. 20-22 of next year. (Okay, the combo of Lois McMaster Bujold and Steve Jackson is tempting.) This would be at the Radisson Hotel Dallas North in Richardson.

Which would also mean taking a few more days off to visit friends in D/FW as well.

So, anyone have any ideas of if this con is worth attending?

Lab manger calls me to check if I was going to be there Saturday. I replied that yes, since I was told I had had no choice in the matter.

Her reply "Oh, we decided that if you wanted to take that day off, you could." After I CANCELED ALL MY PLANS FOR THAT DAMMED DAY BECAUSE IDIOT BOSS AND JACKASS LAB MANAGER TOLD ME I HAD NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

It's offical. This place offically blows dead penguins.
