The Weird Dream Channel

Few days ago, I had a dream where I was in the "Iron Chef" kitchen stadium. I was in the gallery watching as they were getting ready to film a match. The chairman unveiled the theme ingredient, and it was boxes and boxes and boxes of Cap'n Crunch cereal.

The rest of the dream was watching these two chefs try to make a five-course gourmet meal using Cap'n Crunch. I seem to rememer one of the chefs making a breaded octopus dish using Cap'n Crunch breading.

Weirdness.

Not only did I hear last night about Richard Biggs sudden death, but I found out this morning that the husband of a fellow Chirurgeon up in LA, passed away after a brief struggle with cancer.

Observation

Little Bit's current favourite watch over and over and over and over movie is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". (I figure I've got time to show her the proper books later, as I personally think the books are far better than the movie)

However, after having watched Willy Wonka a few times, I've come to a conclusion.

Willy Wonka is actually a Timelord.........

Disclaimer - I'm a former member of CWA, and have at least one close friend on the picket line, and know others there too.

Which is why this asshat's behaviour ticks me off.

Manager's spouse, children interrupt SBC picketers with counter-strike march, posters

You know, maybe now that the managers are getting an idea how bloody difficult their employee's jobs are in places, they'll be more realistic about the quotas that they demand. I doubt it, but stranger things have been known to happen.

Problem is all the media is reporting on is the health care issue - and there's a lot more to what CWA is wanting than health care. SBC could meet CWA's demands simply by cutting the bonuses their CEO is making.
