There's been some interesting rumours about Washington Times owner, (and Unification Church leader) Sun Myung Moon being crowned as the Messiah in a Senate Office Building last March. While the story hasn't shown up in the media much if at all, it has been buzzing around "Blogspace" for a while now.
An interesting article on the subject can be found at Gadflyer.
Moon over Washington
Scary if true.

I found out that Kate Worley, co-creator of the "Omaha the Cat Dancer" comic series, died June 6th after a battle with spinal cancer.

Ironically, only a few days before hand, there was an announcement that she had patched things up enough with her ex-husband, Omaha co-creator Reed Waller, that they were planning to finish the Omaha series, (the series ended on a cliffhanger when they split up).
Now, the series may never be finished. Worse than that, a talented artist is no longer with us.
Rest in Peace Ms. Worley.
