Let me get this straight.

Earlier in the week, George Elliott, Kerry's wartime commander, (and the person who recommended him for a Silver Star), appears on the anti-Kerry video that the so-called "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" put out. What he says on the video contadicts what he said in a 1996 senate race appearance with Kerry.

Then later in the week, he says in a newspaper article that he made a mistake in what he said about Kerry, and that Kerry did deserve his award, recanting what he said earlier.

And NOW he's recanting the recant???

So, let me get this straight. He's now changed his mind on Kerry's service three times. Twice he says he's deserved it, twice he's said he didn't. In print and appearences, he's said one thing, in affidavits, he's said another.

It's looking like the so-called "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth", can't keep their stories straight. Not surprising, since none of them served with Kerry in the first place, and 9 of the 10 surviving crewmates of Kerry not only support Kerry, but have been very consistant in what they have said. Whereas "SBVfT" can't seem to co-ordinate their stories very well.

It's looking like - dare I say it - flip-flopping to me.
