My, Earth really is full of things....

I'll comment on it in minute, (I'm only up to Make a Star 4), but there is something I need to say first.
WHAT DRUGS WAS THE GAME MAKER ON?? I DIDN'T THINK THIS MUCH ACID EXISTED OUTSIDE OF A GRATEFUL DEAD CONCERT!!!!
Okay, here's what's going on.
Seems the King of All the Cosmos went on a bender and broke all the stars. After he sobered up, he sent you, the Prince down to Earth to help build new stars.
The way you (the prince) does that is by rolling around a Katimari, a small ball that picks up things. You start small, about 2cm, and are limited to picking up things smaller than the Katamari. So you start by picking up dice, ants, chestnuts, etc., and work your way up to cards, shoes, pets, dishes, games, houses, aircraft, sperm whales, etc.....
If you manage to get the Katamari up to a certain size before time runs out, the King of All the Cosmos takes the katamari ball and uses it to create a new star. If not, well, it seems the Royal family of All the Cosmos is a *bit* dysfunctional...... Basically the prince gets insulted and has to try again and again until it's big enough.
The music is addicting, the gameplay is silly, the graphics are fun, and the whole thing is just downright weird.
And now, if you will excuse me, I need to go roll things up........
