From the "And I want a pony!" department.....
Family's pleadin' cheek"A FAMILY of ten is demanding their council give them a TEN-bedroom mansion.
Sue McFadden, 54, says she needs the space for her three children and six grandchildren.
The family lives in a three-bed semi in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Only one of the four adults works — so they rake in the equivalent of £32,000-a-year in benefits.
Sue says she’d like a luxury shower room, two bathrooms and a plush fitted kitchen — in the posh suburbs of Chester."And I want a pony. But I'm not getting that either.
Dad of 14 sick of Britain"Mick Philpott yesterday demanded a bigger council house for him, his 14 kids, his wife — and his mistress.
And when he was turned down, he had the nerve to blame the state of the nation.
The jobless 49-year-old moaned: “I used to love my country but I’m just sick of it now.
“I’m really ashamed of what’s happening. Britain is going down the pan.”
Philpott lives in a three-bedroom semi in Derby with wife Mairead, 25, his lover Lisa Willis, 22, and eight of the children.
But he insists he needs more space as he has to sleep in a tent when his SIX other kids from THREE previous girlfriends come to visit."Gee, wonder if he would accept getting a vasectomy as a condition of getting this bigger house.........
You know, I can understand legit needs for things like this. But these two cases seem more like "entitlement mentality" than actual needs.
Those poor children.....
