While watching a film show on BBC World Service this morning, they showed an interesting piece of trivia.

Two of the prop "One Rings" used in the "Lord of the Rings" movies are owned by two of the actors.

Elijah Wood owns one.......

......and Andy Serkis owns the other.

Somehow appropriate.

Okay, celticdragonfly decided to inflict this horrible example of the knitter's art on me..

To which my snark was:

"Way up in the remotest reaches of the Andes, the Fuglieo tribe practiced their native crafts, spinning, felting, and weaving the abundant llama-vomited wool in the traditional tribal patterns. Sadly, modern tools, such as supplimental oxygen and eyeglasses, are causing fewer and fewer Fugileos to practice their ancient craftwork. For which we can only give thanks."
