patgund: Knotwork (Apple - Penguin)
Well, the mighty G4 hunter has returned from his hunt, having identified six unknown G4's still in the wild. Arrangements are being made to capture these specimens and arrange for them to be kept in captivity for an unknown length of time.

The problem is that we have nine G4's to capture to ensure a proper breeding colony, and we only have seven G5's waiting for release into the wild to take up the G4's ecological niche. So I have to wait for a couple more G5's to return from the vet's office.

Once we can accomplish this, we'll have all known examples of C. Pomum Quattuor Qatari, that were in the wild, safe and secure and ready for their new homes.

Been doing some study about Freya of late. The Norse mythos always been one of my points of curiousity, but I've usually been too busy sorting out the reality from the crap in everything that's been written about *Celtic* mythology and beliefs, to be able to give the same attention to the Norse.

But I had an interesting revelation about Freya. One of the strongest proofs of her ability and her powers is not her reputation as a Goddess of Love. It is not her reputation as a Goddess of Battle. It is not her patronage of magic, or her encouragement of mental and intellectual studies.

It's her chariot. Which is pulled by two cats. And the ability to be able to direct cats to go anywhere YOU want them to go rather than anywhere THEY want to go, shows just how powerful Freya actually was...........
