Okay, so far I am NOT impressed with Second Life.
It took two days to register due to a word recognition bug
Opened up the Mac OS X client. It said there was a new one. Downloaded that. It glitches on login and can't load, showing a "login failed, unable to complete transform: 'fix inventory folders', please contact support@secondlife.com"
Finally got on it (Patrick Chaparral, if anyone is curious)
Still on help island. And having problems with my clothes. I keep trying to change them, and I end up turning myself green, losing clothing, various wardrobe malfunctions......
Friend of mine sent me this device she told me how to use. Except all it seems to do is put a box around my midsection, with no buttons or anything else she mentioned......
I can't add people to my friends list for some reason.
I can't figure out how to drive.
I'm getting really fustrated with it
On edit - ARRRRGH!!! Now the server booted me off of Help Island and to someplace I never heard of. I thought you could stay on Help Island until you got the hang of things. Seems not. And I have NO idea where the frak I am.
Colour me annoyed.
