What I've noticed is that the older stuff, (some shirts, my long norman tunic, etc., have worn like iron, and look DAMN good still.
And the newer stuff, (a cotehardie, an "Irish Shirt", and a long cloak) look like crap. The shirt has tears in the collar and sleves, the cotehardie is freyed and faded badly, and the cloak has bad seams and has also freyed and faded.
These are NEWER than the previous garb, haven't been mistreated, and yet they look so bad when compared to the older gard from them.
Did they have a bad run on garb, or a bad subcontractor? I'd like to order some of their newer stuff, but I'm feeling kinda leary considering how badly the newer garb has worn and faded compared to the newer stuff.
I'm not knocking them, but I am curious and concerned.
