You know you're an SCA Parent when.....
Jan. 23rd, 2009 10:44 pmYou stay up late the night before an event sewing garb.......
....for your seven year old daughter's Groovy Girls dolls.

Okay, basic T-tunics, what can I say...... (And a really nice organic cotton to boot!)

A better shot. I may do hook and eyes at the neck and make ring belts for them later. The leggings and shoes, alas, are built into the doll, so.......
The colours, BTW, are those of Caid and An Tir.
Yeah, I'm a daft dad......

Have you seen the Only Hearts Club Dolls? They are very much dolls that look like girls. They are maybe the same heighth (or a bit shorter) than Barbies but they are NOT anything like Barbies or Bratz when it comes to shape and presentation. They're just young girls with great stories, hip clothes that don't make them look like prostitutes and they aren't that expensive.
