A few days ago, a lone gunman, who seems to have been acting in the name of their religion, shot and killed someone in a public place, without seeming regard for anyone around their victim.
In both cases, the gunman acted in a manner that evokes elements of religious extremism and terrorism.
So why is it the terrorist that shot and killed Dr. Tiller is facing state murder charges, but no death penalty or federal terrorism charges. and the terrorist that shot and killed Pvt. William Long is facing state murder charges PLUS 15 counts of committing a terrorist act??
Seems to me that both are religious terrorists, and should be treated accordingly.
