Say *WHAT*???
Oct. 29th, 2003 04:16 pmIn the middle of all the SoCal Fire stuff, I didn't even find out about these bits of random stupidity until now.
First off, Shrub managed to follow up that assine "Protection of Marriage" week with "Protection from Pornography Week". Oh fricking puh-leze!! (Though observing this week with "appropriate programs and activities" could take on a whole new meaning......)
And second off, a batch of marriage counselors are calling mixed-gender relationships as a "form of emotional cheating". Say what???? So, just because the majority of my closest friends are female, then I'm somehow **cheating** on any primary relationship I'm in? Sorry, wrong! Come on, one of the reasons I wrote off the PlayHobbit as a possible interest was because she didn't feel anyone she was dating should have any female friends. (Okay, another reason was that she was dumber than dirt as well) Gag........
Okay, I will grant that any relationship of whatever type in which one feels the need to hide details from one's spouse/partner/significant other/whatever are signs of a problem in the main relationship. But just dinging someone because their close friends are of the opposite gender, (or, I suspect same gender if one is in a same-gender relationship), is bulldada.
