Well, ball is rolling
Nov. 17th, 2003 03:47 pmTook an extended lunch and went to the Scripps Ranch FEMA centre, to apply for reimbursement for the damage my car took during the recent fires.
Basically, first thing FEMA will do is see if my insurance company will cover it. If that doesn't work, then I can apply for a SBA loan in the amount that it took to get repaired. If that doesn't work, then FEMA will give me a grant for the amount.
Seems silly to file for a small $1200 amount when people lost their homes, but every little it helps.
