patgundI'm at the TA travel centre in Redding. The trip over the mountains went well, chains were suggested to be carried, but not required. The snow wasn't closer to me than about 500 feet at Mt. Shasta.
Checking my mail off their wi-fi, then heading south again. Right now feeling like I should write off the rest of my vacation though - too upset to feel social or friendly.
