Moderately Productive
Nov. 11th, 2003 11:32 amWell, as a reward for putting up with this place for two years, I now have retirement benefits and a 403(b)
Being the moderate I am, I split company investments 50%-50% between the two groups offered. The fund investment portion was split 50% with Ginnie Mae funds, 25% with European Fund stocks, and 25% with Pacific Rim Fund stocks. The TIAA/CREF is set for moderately agressive stocks. Figured it was a good mixure of stability and risk.
The last portion was making sure that, should anything happen to me, the funds all go to Little Bit as 100% beneficiary. She also gets my life insurance if anything happens to me.
At least if I get hit by a bus tomorrow, she'll be provided for. I'm not planning to step infront of a bus anytime soon though.
