Question Time
Nov. 5th, 2005 12:27 pmA political tradition in the UK and many of the Commonwealth countries is that of Question Time or Question Period
Basically this is a period in which MP's, both of the majority party and of the minority party, can ask and/or demand answers from Ministers and other high-ranking government officals. The UK brings it one step futher in that every Wednesday has the Prime Minister's Questions, in which the Prime Minister has to answer the questions him or her self.
There are serious times I think the US could benefit from a practice simular to "Question Time".
