Got a computer with an IDE drive? Sell computer IDE/ATA drives? Have the County of Los Angeles as a vendor? Well, make sure you *don't* refer to the drive settings as "Master/Slave".

Wonder if their next trick will be to discourage the use of the term "Male Connector / Female Connector"??

Maybe instead we could have "dominant" and "submissive" hard drives. Or "oppressor" and "oppressee". "Asks Politely" and "Happy Worker"? I know, "Boss" and "Peon" hard drives!!

Of course, Los Angeles is also the only place I've actually run into people introducing themselves as Master and Slave.
