patgundYou would think, after a year, I would have written off the local english language bookstore. But no, I had to go in looking for ANYTHING new to read.......
And took a look at their "Science Fiction - Fantasy" series, which is usually 100% Robert Jordan, though occasionally you can find Terry Brooks in there as well.
It's now 60% Robert Jordan and 40% Jean Auel
Gahhh.
I'm amazed they can even *sell* Jean Auel in an Islamic country. Some of those books are protoporn........
Admittedly, Auel is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, for all I joke about the main character eventually inventing the wheel, the electric light, the internal combustion engine, and nuclear fusion........
