On the down side....

patgundI confess to bitter disappointment that the majority of people in my native state (California) decided to make bigotry and discrimination part of the state Constitution.
I am hoping that as absentee ballots and provisionals are counted, that sanity prevails and 8 is sent back to the infernal regions that spawned it.
But it shouldn't be so damn close. I'm a hetrosexual male, but I do not believe that right to marry is threatened by letting other people who love each other marry!
There are things and people I miss in California. But I feel a bit more apart from my native state right now
