*laughs* I finally went and picked up a window a/c for my room. I was able to tolerate it last year, not so much this year. My brother is taking full advantage of it and took his nap in here. ^_^

On the plus side, with it on, the various fans placed through the house, it is much cooler (which isn't saying much) in the living and dining rooms. Oh, and it is currently 104 here.

BTW, when you coming down for a visit again? Everyone in the house has been asking. Yeah, my family likes you, deal with it. :P

Nope. Humidity there in late summer and early fall can reach the 80%-90% range.

... That's kind of epic humidity. I'd be surprised that this weather in Seattle is getting to you—but I can also hear my family in Tennessee laughing at me, and I imagine temps were worse in Qatar than in Tennessee.

Well, Roland grew up in NY/CT, and it wasn't too many winters before I'd hear him complaining about the cold -- here where oranges grow :-).
