Seriously, not one of them I'd want for dog-catcher, much less Mayor. Though almost all of them would be better the Nichols, (the exception being Nichols himself)

I've gotten used to the idea that, at the local level at least, most of the time it's a matter of holding my nose and voting for the least bad of a rotten bunch (or at least voting against the worst of them). Mostly, anybody who I'd feel good voting for is smart enough that they won't go near the cesspool that's local politics.
