I will say that "Mission of Honor" is a lot better than most of the more recent "Honorverse" books. It's also a bit shorter, and doesn't have the metric blortload of data dumps that infest much of his later books. Which might be WHY it was a lot better.

It's hard to say who is more screwed at this point though.

You mean he found an editor? The "Honor Harrington" books bore me to tears, and I've TRIED. Really.
