Three notes on the new harp
Sep. 6th, 2004 07:43 pmThe Sharpsicle itself is wonderful. But I suspect I'm going to have make a couple of changes on some things
First off, I think I may get one of the Harpsicle sticks to better balance it on my knees.
The soft-side "Harpsicle Wrapper" is nice, but the large side pocket, (just right to carry songbooks, tuner, key, extra strings, etc.), needs a flap or closure on it. Something to do in a few days I suspect.
And I think I'm going to find a shoulder strap for it that doesn't look like the suspenders from "Mork and Mindy". Hmmmm......I wander if I could commission / bribe one of my inkle weaving addict friends to make me a custom strap for it.....

You might want to email them and ask them for a picture.
re: strap - hm, that aimed at me? I could do something, but it wouldn't be quick. If you're wanting it soon, not me. (DEFINITELY not going to get done in September) How long, how wide? How thick does it need to be? (Why yes, I have gotten spoiled working in the thin stuff.) How does it need to attach to things? What colors?
