Found on Saturday an old highway bridge off of Pacific Highway in San Diego. It's a 1933 four lane concrete that was part of US 101, and is now a dead end frontage road off of Pacific Highway.

It's in very good shape actually. Will have to get pictures later. (Along with the 1941 US 395 bridge in Poway that's now used for bikes, and the US 395 mile marker in Escondido)

I'd like some details on this, in particular, about where it is. I'll put it in my pages. You should also let either Andy Field or Casey Cooper (of the San Diego highway pages) know.

Mapquest doesn't even show the frontage road, but it's right before Pacific Highway makes the turn over I-5 and ends at Sea World Drive / Tecolote Road. It looks like the bridge was cut off during the building of the Tecolote Road off ramp. Roughly 32.76602 lat by -117.204908 long according to TopoWorld

I'll bring a camera and GPS unit with me next time I'm out there. They may already know about it, but I'll see what I can do.
