patgundLast Thursday I sent a batch of stuff to the Department of State, hopefully proving who I am.
I called today. My passport has been moved from "awaiting information" to "in process" as of October 1st. They say I should have it, barring further problems, before I leave, but to call on Tuesday if I don't. Since I paid for expedited, they said it should get here before I go on my trip.
Hopefully I'll have it before then.
