For the holidays......
Dec. 8th, 2004 10:52 pmIf I can direct your attention to the following holiday-themed websites.....
Ugly Christmas Lights.com
Or even scarier, tacky and downright weird nativity scenes at:
Going Jesus
This Episcopalian church secretary has put together an....interesting display of some of the moredemented unusual nativity scenes. I think while the fiber-optic one is just weird, as is the inflatable one. However, the weirdest of the lot is the All-Chicken nativity scene, complete with chicken wise "men", a chicken Mary, a chicken Joseph, and, of course, a chicken Baby Jesus. (no, the wise "men" do not come bearing nuggets.)
On Google Search, I found the company that makes the chicken nativity, http://www.amerheritage.com/salespages/bigsky/bigskycarver.htm. Besides the "Chickentivity", they also have a "Cativity", a "Dogtivity" (Jesus as a West Highland Terrier??), a "Safaritivity", (Jesus as a baby hippo??? Though the Lion Wise "Man" is cute), and a "Moosetivity".
Help me out here, WHY?????
