Impromptu redecorating.....

patgundThe fluorescent torcherie lamp in my room died today. Thankfully, I had some money that my mom had given me as a holiday present. to get a new one.
Found a black incandescent torcherie lamp for $10 with a built-in red and black lava lamp. Okay, silly, but it looked cool, so I got it. I'm a sucker for lava lamps.
Also got a "daylight" fluorescent bulb for it, to supposedly help guard against SAD and the like, (I had a daylight lamp in my office for the same reason.) However, it's got the *bluest* light I've ever seen. I want to know what planet it's showing as daylight.
