When I was going though the software side of my Apple certification, one of the steps after doing an install was to run software update, to catch anything posted since the software came out.

So I installed 10.4, which just was released today.......and promply run software update the minute I have a connection.

Like there's going to be anything to download less than a day after release????

Since the disk was made possibly a couple weeks ago you never know what they may have come up with. It is an understandable reaction, I do it all the time.
