patgundHad the initial evaluation yesterday. And the counselor's long term recommendation is to get the hell out of dodge. (or the lab, same thing.) Which means stepping up job searching. (Resumes just got updated on FlipDog, Dice, and Monster, and there's a position at CSU-Northridge that would be perfect for me if I decide to relocate.)
In the short term, the options they're going to discuss with HR, are stress-reduction classes, (gee, wonder if I can get them to classify my harp classes as such), and possible revamping of my work schedule. For example, 4 10 hour days, giving me three days off rather than two. Or going to a part-time, 3 or 4 day work week.
They'll talk with them on tuesday. We'll see.
