Seems that there's a big play area set up, TV monitors everywhere, and shops doing sidewalk sales.
What's the big fuss?. The launch of the Al Jazeera Children's Channel, which bills itself as the first pan-Arab children's network, and is intended to "educate and provide an alternative to American cartoon channels".
What's funny to me is while the network plans to do the children's channel in Arabic, all the display signs and the like were in English.
