The lightbulbs, they go pop....

The last three mornings here have been the same. Walk into main room of transitional apartment, turn on overhead lights. Hear the "Pop" as a lightbulb burns out, followed by the "Crash, Tinkle" as the bulb breaks from it's base, falls over two meters, and hits the tile floor.

The good thing I guess is that the bulbs that did this are all one type, and no there's no more of that time in the overheads. And that I've been too tired each time it happens to do more than grumble and breakout the brush and dustpan.

You really need to have the superintendant or someone at the building have the electrical checked. That could be dangerous.
