patgundGot a call from someone I haven't heard from in almost 4 years. Someone who I had a fairly severe crush on a while back.
And the reason for this call? They wanted someone to fix their computer.
WTF????
Why does it seem like the only reason anyone calls, writes, or emails me anymore is to fix their Gods-Be-Dammed computer??? Is this the only fucking reason anyone wants me in their life, So I can fix their bloody Mac or PC ???
Yes, I know there's a few of them who don't. But it seems like the majority only want me in their life for free computer repair. And most of them get offended if I want payment or trade in return. Dammit, I do this for a dammed living, did it ever dawn on these people that maybe I *don't* want to do it on my free-time?? That maybe, just maybe, I want someone to invite me over or call me or whatever because they want to spend time with me, not because they're getting a blinking MacOS icon or a blue screen of death??
Yeah, like that's gonna happen anytime soon.
